Update 2nd September
Thank you to everyone who has helped raise over £3400 - this is incredible! Now that Firstsite is open again we are working hard to support our local communities and create new exhibitions and experiences to inspire us all as we face this changed world.
Closure and now the reduction in our buildings capacity means the income we rely on has dramatically reduced. We continue to need your generous support so that we can keep on creating art and culture for everyone.
Your support, no matter to size, can help us to recover and provide the inspiration and connection our community needs at this difficult time.
Please help if you can. Thank you.

As a charity, we rely on donations from our visitors, so that we can support our community and provide the best art, culture and creativity for everyone, for free.
The impact of shutting Firstsite has been huge, for us but also for the communities we work with, which is why we are reaching out to you to help us, if you can, so that we can continue our key projects...
First for Art
We create incredible exhibitions with some of the world's most exciting artists, including Antony Gormley, Lubaina Himid, Grayson Perry, and Gillian Wearing.
Your donation can help us continue this work, keep our exhibitions free, and form new ways of bringing fantastic artworks into people's homes, giving even more people access to the benefits of art and creativity.
First for Fun
Our Firstsite Holiday Fun programme runs during the school holidays, and provides free meals to those who receive free school meals during term time.
We are determined to keep this programme running, and want to expand our canteen to provide more local families access to free meals and activities that empower children to lead healthier and happier lives.
First for Community
We invite members of our community to explore the Arts Council Collection to create radical and relevant exhibitions and experiences to unite and inspire us all.
Your support can help us co-curate an exhibition with NHS frontline staff and communities who have been affected by COVID-19.
During lockdown, we have also been working with some of the best artists to create our Art is where the home is activity packs, as a way to build a virtual, creative community to help combat feelings of isolation and anxiety.
And although closed to the public, our building is also being used by Community 360 as a distribution centre for welfare packs, which have been going out to vulnerable people across East Anglia.
Your generosity can help projects such as these continue.
Whatever you can give right now will go a huge way in helping us collaborate with more communities and find creative solutions to the world we find in front of us.
