Last year Firefighters in Ukraine worked for weeks on end to put out the fires raging in the Chernobyl area. As a country not yet fully developed with limited GDP their fire kit is not of a great quality. With the continuous fires they were fighting ,what they had was reduced to totally sub-standard kit offering little to no protection.

in the UK many Fire Services take their redundant , no longer used kit and donate it to Fire Aid who then go on to donate it to countries in need. This kit , no longer of use to us will go on to protect firefighters as they themselves fight fires and save lives,. This set of kit will go to an area roughly the size of Kent so that the whole region of firefighters has fire kit worthy of the job they do.
