FOOD BANK SPONSORED WALK 30/10/2022 SUNDAY

In light of current economic circumstances lots of our local community are suffering in silence to make ends meet.

Following the ethos of Jalaram Bapa Feed the Hungry and Help the Needy we decided to start FOOD BANK in the Mandir (Temple) providing groceries to the silent needy people, without any discrimination. This began on 28th June 2022 serving between 70 to 100 people every Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:45 pm.

The FOOD BANK is an extension of already provided sewa (service) to Homeless every Friday at Charing Cross, Sadavrat Prasad (Hot Meals) served at Mandir every day in the afternoon from 12:30 to 2:00 pm, Batuk Bhojan (Food for children) to about 1000 children a week in India near Virpur etc. Visit http://www.jalarammandir.co.uk/sewa.php for more details. Some of the devotees have decided to organise a charity walk on 30th October 2022 from Shree Jalaram Mandir & Community Centre Greenford to Jalaram Jupdi Temple in Hounslow, approximately 9 Kilometres, in support of the FOOD BANK project to raise funds. All donations of £51 and over will be acknowledged with message from respective donors displayed during live broadcast on JalaramTV, www.jalaram.tv, on 30th October 2022.

Donation of any amount will be appreciated and if you are a tax payer, please Gift Aid your donation which will increase the donation by 25% provided by the HMRC.
