Story
Father George Hudson was inspired by the dawn of the 20th Century to found the charity that now carries his name. He created a project to help those who were most in need. During the last 120 years, much has changed but at Father Hudson's Care, we are still here to support those most in need, with your support we can continue to be there for people in need near you.
At Father Hudson's Care, we use our extensive experience to support community projects that meet the needs of local people. In the center of Birmingham our projects, Tabor House and Tabor Cottage, are helping people to move on from homelessness. In Sandwell, Brushstrokes is working to help all those in need but also providing specialist help to Refugees, Asylum Seekers and vulnerable migrants. In North Staffordshire Young at Heart reduces isolation and loneliness among older people by providing popular social groups.
Across the West Midlands, the Family Support Service works in schools to help families overcome problems that can affect their children's wellbeing and educational achievement.
At our base in Coleshill, St Joseph's residential care home offers a caring home to older people and specialist care for people with dementia and St Catherine's Bungalows offer a home for people with multiple complex disabilities. Their aim is to enable people to live a fulfilling life of their choosing.
We could not have achieved so much without supporters, your donations can help us to be there for people now and in the future.
