People like Tom in the picture above are at the heart of Boaz. People just like you and me who like to work and contribute. Working alongside volunteers our members get to keep chickens, grow a variety of crops, harvest them, learn to cook meals, and construct woodwork and craft items for sale. None of this is possible without lots of support - from volunteers and people like you who help us financially.

Right now, our people need help - some of them financially, to be able to keep coming to Boaz when their money is tight.

Our plants need help - as the composting area which lies at the heart of our allotment area needs rebuilding so it can continue to provide homemade compost well into the future.

Our poulty need help - at present Avian flu is confining them to our polytunnels, temporarily, but this gives us opportunity to refurbish their usual chicken runs and sheds that need urgent repairs.

If we can raise £6,000, then the project can continue to offer high quality support to those who need it most. EWE CAN DO IT is the campaign we have launched to get people physically active again and raise funds for these key areas. Whether you walk, ride a bike, run or do something else active we will celebrate with you and encourage you to achieve your goals. When your friends support you financially to do this, everyone wins. You get fitter and encouraged and Boaz will be able to continue helping those who need a place where work is provided and people are valued.
