This summer we have been having lovely warm sunny days and very little rain, because of this the grass has not grown. In the summer time we rely on the grass to feed the horses and keep the bills down, but currently we are needing to feed them the same amount of hay as we do in the winter. A small bale of hay costs £5.50, or a round like this cost £40. If you would like to help feed your favourite horse(s) over the summer, we are welcoming donations towards the cost of the hay. No matter whether you donate to cover the cost of one bale or many, our horses will be most appreciative. We estimate that the additional cost to see us through this dry spell will add as much as £3,000 to our annual budget. All contributions will be very welcome!
