Story
What started as a vision almost a year ago, to provide a means of delivering not just hope, value, worth & dignity to those who fall through the cracks & onto our streets, but also a safe, alternative and neutral place where many who struggle to engage with services, within the expected/established format can do so minus a lot of the pressures they would otherwise encounter, is now almost a reality.
The Samantha Wright Community Outreach Vehicle, dedicated to the memory of Sam Wright, one of many who's life was taken by the streets, is now being refitted as a fully functionable, multi agency tool, .
The facility will include a private counselling/0ne 2 one area, drop in area with art, crafts, training, education, tv. Wi-Fi, power and charging ports, hot drink provision, shower and bathroom. But most importantly it will be able to take any service to any individual wherever that person may be. So whether in town, a village, a layby, a carpark or churchyard, Project 16:15 can enable ourselves and other agencies to reach further, engage with people where they are at and provide a much needed alternative to compliment what is currently available.
Our target is to be on the road for early 2021, and your donations will help with that, enabling us to install the cctv, and purchase equipment such as laptops, arts & crafts, educational resources as well as events equipment.
