Story
Becoming a parent can be daunting for anyone and many Dads feel that the system and structures in place focus on supporting the mum only. The aim of these workshops is to provide dads and father figures an opportunity to build on their knowledge and understanding of supporting their children. New skills will give dads the confidence to tackle any issues their children may present and that there will be improved relationships between father and child.
Dads Rock workshops run throughout the year providing a programme of information sharing sessions on parenting skills, health and wellbeing. Topics such as antenatal advice, sleep workshop, healthy eating, hairstyling and cycling are available to help Dads to respond better to their childrens needs.
Dads today want to take a more active role in parenting and these workshops will give them the opportunity to learn along with a friendly, non-judgemental forum to discuss any issues they may have with other Dads.
