Story
Projectors are an essential tool for teaching interactive and engaging lessons in the 21st-century classroom. Teachers use them to share lecture notes, visual class materials, and created content, as well as present practice problems or work through visual concepts. Students also use the projectors to share project and presentation assignments with their peers. In a building full of light, its important to have clear, bright, high-resolution projectors that are compatible with both school laptops and the wide variety of devices used by students. This necessitates wireless capabilities or universal connectors. Ceiling mounted and short-throw projectors are the best answer to maximizing classroom space and minimizing the tripping hazards caused by rolling carts and trailing wires. These require special brackets and connection kits along with the cost of purchase and installation.
The Upper School continuously regularly upgrades and replaces projectors and other technology. $5,250 in funding to replace up to 5 projectors for the coming school year will have an immediate impact for current students and faculty and will also speed up the equipment replacement cycle going forward.
