Story
Watch the model grow as you add bricks on the progress pages on our website
Chiswick House and Gardens is an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the heart of West London. Throughout the coronavirus lock-down, the gardens have remained open for all visitors and dog walkers to enjoy. However, income from events has been wiped out and it will take the Trust, which manages the estate, years to recover.

Chiswick House Friends is a registered charity which supports the park and the work of the Trust. We have commissioned a Lego® brick model of the House - one of the earliest examples of neo-Palladian architecture in England.

At 2m long, it will take 50,000 bricks to build. The model will be built in three versions - the original House from 1736; with the Devonshire-wings added in 1788; and the House as we see it today.
Once the three versions are complete, we plan to combine them into a single transforming model, displayed at the House for future generations of school children to learn about this exceptional building and its place in history.
Help us to raise funds for the House and Gardens by donating bricks to build the model. A donation of just £2 will add one brick; £10 will add five bricks. Donations of £15 or more will add one brick for every £1.50 donated.
You will be able to see the progress of the build through daily update photos on the progress pages on our website. You can also see here the Roll of Honour for donors of £15 (ten bricks) or more.
When the lock-down is lifted, the model will be on show in the Gardens Café, where local school children will help with the build.
Donors of £15 (ten bricks) or more will be added to the Roll of Honour on our website (chfriends.org.uk).
