Casa Maria is our Children's Family House in Romania that provides care for 12 children living with severe disabilities and complex needs, some with life limiting conditions.

The children are loved and cared for in a warm, comfortable, and safe environment around the clock, by an expert professional, dedicated team.

They receive personal care and a specialist diet, with permanent supervision and medical assistance. Their days are packed with exciting activities including recovery and rehabilitation therapies to help their mobility, access to education and development of life skills, social, recreational, and cultural activities and an abundance of emotional support and love.

The team at Casa Maria is committed to working with local authorities to ensure family reintegration where possible and to breaking down barriers in respect of community understanding and acceptance of diverse abilities.

The cost of specialist care and a loving home cost £3500 per child, per month which amounts to £504.000 per year. Whilst the local social services provide a substantial proportion of funding towards that amount, we rely on raising the balance through donations both in Romania and the UK.

In the UK we have committed to raising £150,000 in the next 12 months to support Casa Maria.
