Story
Calling all current Carthage seniors! We need your help to pay it forward to future Firebirds. From day one, the Class of 2023 has left our mark on campus. We all remember our first time signing the Kissing Rock and can't wait to sign it one last time at commencement. But leaving our mark at Carthage doesn't have to stop there!
This year, we are laying the foundation for the legacy of the Class of '23 by fundraising for our Endowed Scholarship, which will help make receiving a Carthage education more accessible to future Firebirds who wish to follow in our footsteps. Selected based on financial need, a student will receive the Class of 2023 Endowed Scholarship every fall.
President and Mrs. Swallow have issued a matching gift of $5,020.23 and have challenged our class to participate in fundraising for the Class of 2023 Endowed Scholarship! When our class raises $2,000, President and Mrs. Swallow will release the first $2,000 of their gift to the scholarship contribution. For the remaining $3,020.23, President and Mrs. Swallow will release their gift based on participation milestones all the way up to 50% (290 students). Do you accept the challenge, Firebirds?
