Rory Macmillan, a generous supporter and trustee of World Child Cancer, sadly passed away two years ago and in his memory, Carlyle are launching a Scholarship Program in partnership with World Child Cancer
The Scholarship will start in Ghana and will be led by cancer survivor and Medical Laboratory Student, Prince
The scholarship programme will enable cancer survivors to enjoy a full education and the benefits that will bring them. Living a life with opportunities they may have missed out on due to their cancer diagnosis and treatment
Prince will be the first student to undertake this Scholarship to become a Dr of Medical Laboratory Science
£4,800 could cover University costs for one person (for the whole of their time at University) - This amount will take care of tuition, hostel and some allowance for the beneficiary of four years public University education in Ghana
£720 could fund a Senior High Scholarship for three years
£240 per year could fund a Primary School or Junior High Scholarship, which could last up to six years
