Story
Recent estimates indicate that about half of US college students experience some form of food insecurity and lack the resources to feed themselves nutritiously and/or consistently. Food insecurity is especially problematic at community colleges, where many students are from lower-income families and already struggle to buy books and pay for transportation to get to-and-from classes.
The NSCC Foundation offers its on-campus food assistance program, the Campus Cupboard, at multiple NSCC campus locations in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. Your support helps us ensure that students have the resources they need to stay focused on their studies instead of worrying about where their next meal might come from.
