Story
Caden was treated at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital in August 2016.
During his stay, the child life specialists anticipated Caden's needs and provided creative outlets to pass the time which left a mark on Caden's heart.
Caden set a goal to raise $1,000 to purchase a Wii gaming console for future patients.
He raised $1,500 and donated the isolation box and stand to go with it!
Next, Caden and his family, with the help of some great local businesses, started Caden's Teddy Bears for Kids. In just three years, he collected over 1,000 bears to give to patients on Christmas Day!
Over the past three years, with your help, Caden raised nearly $20,000 to purchase iPads for patients to use at the hospital for family e-visits, distraction tools during procedures, and more.
Caden is now a high school senior, and will be attending the University of Redlands in the fall. Even though Caden has a busy year ahead, he wants to remember the children in the hospital and hopes to fundraise as much as possible to help them feel better. He's focusing on iPads again to give our young patients the ability to play and connect while recovering from their illness or injury.
Would you please join Caden's mission to buy as many iPads as possible to help bring comfort to children during their stay at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital?
When we work together, we can make a difference.
