Story
On the 21st May, a group of 6 Vision Norfolk service users and staff members will be walking up Mount Snowdon to raise vital funds for our Children, Young People and Families Service.
There are over 640 children in Norfolk with a Vision Impairment. Vision Norfolk supports these children by arranging activities, events and providing emotional and practical support and guidance for their families. All money raised from the climb will be put towards continuing this important service.
This idea was initiated by Chelsea Leggett (mum to Kobi), who had the idea of climbing Snowdon to raise money for the charity that supports her son. She asked her friend Sally Watts (mum to Jenelle who also has a vision impairment) to join her, together with Graham Colman (grandad of Jenelle). Teresa (mum of Rhiannon, who has been supported by Vision Norfolk for many years) was also keen to walk too. Staff members Barbara and Helen also wanted to join when they heard about the challenge.
