The CHOW Walk is back in person for 2022 and we're putting the Fun in FUNdraiser this year!

We're partnering with Beer Tree to host our annual fundraiser on September 25, 2022.

Anytime between 12-5pm Walk for CHOW at the Oakdale Mall and enjoy family fun & kid's activities in the mall.

And all day from 12-6pm celebrate with Live Music, Food & Drinks at Factory by Beer Tree Brew! And definitely chow down, 15% of proceeds from the event's food sales will benefit CHOW!

The CHOW Walk has three important goals:

1. To increase awareness about hunger in Broome County.

2. To raise funds to provide food to our neighbors in need.

3. To exercise and have fun!

Hunger is more widespread in Broome County than many people realize, and with rising costs of food and other expenses, this need has become even greater. Thanks to donors like you, CHOW is able to meet needs in many ways:

Nearly 2 million meals are distributed annually.

1.8 million pounds of food that would have gone to a landfill were recovered from grocery stores and restaurants and distributed to local pantries and meal sites.

The CHOW Walk is one of our biggest fundraisers that makes this work possible throughout the year.
