The mission of the FIRST Organization is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. Our team shares this mission, as well as a more personal mission to inspire students from small towns and to make our school and our community stronger. We built our first competition robot in 2020 and now we are raising money so we can keep the program going at CPS for many years to come.

Fundraising Goal: Our fundraising goal for the year is to raise $10,000. As a new team, there is a lot of equipment that we still need, including a rolling toolbox, power tools, and a trailer for transporting our robot to and from competitions. Funds will also be used for competition expenses/entry fees, and electronics and building materials.
