Our service is facing one of its toughest winters yet.

Local homelessness has been steadily on the rise as record numbers of men and women impacted by the pandemic turn to our service for help. In response to these needs the charity has expanded to provide Advice, Advocacy, Shelter and Hosted services under one roof. In the last 18 months over 750 unique enquirers from the Bromley borough and surrounding areas have been supported.

So how can you help?

In past years, many of you have become loyal friends and supporters of the Bromley Homeless Shelter through its Annual Sleep-Out. You have raised tens of thousands of pounds which has gone directly to help and support those in need. This year, we hope you'll gather with us again - same location, same format with all the familiar team faces and some new ones.

If you have not slept out before, please be encouraged to join us - every penny raised will make an enormous difference to an ever increasing number of men and women, whose lives have taken a sad and unfortunate turn for the worst, often through no fault of their own.

This is our chance to reunite in a night of solidarity: for all the rough sleepers and those who experience homelessness in our community, in the breadth of visible and invisible forms it takes. We'll take time, too, to catch-up, fill our tummy with some warm food and remember those we've lost along the way. As always, we'll bed down in the churchyard. Others who wish to, can safely bed down in the church hall, suitably distanced.
