On August 22nd 2010, under the watchful eye of Pete Winchester a veteran of 70 cross Humber swims, Bob Wraith a family man and member of Humberston Lions set out on a grueling 11 mile swim the Humber as he reached Cleethorpes beach he collapsed ironically the RNLI was called.
Many people helped including Coastguard, Paramedics, Grimsby Hospital's A&E and ICU departments, Hull Royal Infirmary and despite having been given only a 4% chance of survival they managed restart his heart and Bob survived.
This anniversary challenge is a thankyou to all those who helped him and to once again raise funds for the Cleethorpes RNLI
