The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileSadly, figures show that last year saw the highest number of rough sleepers ever recorded on the streets of Exeter. Well over 200 people experienced rough sleeping over the 12 months.
We are under more pressure from people in need of our services than ever before and our staff are working hard to support people who rely on us as a lifeline.
If you enjoy scones, cream and jam as much as Naomi Cleaver, who is the star of our summer campaign, you might be interested in devouring a few to help us!
If you run a cafe or restaurant, you can help by becoming one of our venue partners. There’s no requirement for a donation, but a contribution of a proportion of your takings, would be very much appreciated!
We'll promote you here - and across our social media platforms - if you sign up! See below for how to do this.
Local residents can get involved, either by visiting one of the venues listed, or running a cream tea event themselves for their family and friends and making a donation of their choice to St Petrock's.
Businesses that operate during weekdays are welcome to get involved too. An event during the week is very welcome!
We’d be really grateful if you would display our downloadable poster (see link below) in prominent places, such as on tables, to help promote the event.
Downloadable poster: https://stpetrocks.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/St-Petrocks-Big-Cream-Tea-A4-Poster-002-1.pdf
We’re also getting some printed, so if you’re in the city centre, we’d be happy to deliver a few to you.
We’d also love to see your #StPetrocksBigCreamTea photos so please do post them online!
Regular donations help us even more!
NB. If you’re in a position to contribute on a regular basis, we would be enormously grateful. Monthly donations help us plan our services with greater confidence.
To help us support homeless people in Exeter please email claire@stpetrocks.org.uk so we can promote your event and business across our social media channels.
