BM Weekend is a wonderful local event and we are looking forward to its return in 2022. Our team of runners and cyclists have signed up to take on the challenge of either a 10km, a Marathon, or a 50km cycle ride through the streets of Brighton, our home.

All the money raised from the weekends events will be spent on improving care for patients at our four hospitals. Your sponsorship donation will be used to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, provide specialty training for staff, complete environmental upgrades to treatment areas, and fund innovative research projects.

The incredible staff at our hospitals help to make the weekend happen safely for the thousands of runners, spectators and supporters that attend. Many of these staff volunteer for the medical team that assess and treat runners during the event. Our A&E department at The Royal Sussex County Hospital also requires extra staffing to ensure we are able to look after the surge in our local population for the weekend.
