Story

On Saturday 7 May the Bereavement Support Group will be running 5K in memory of our precious babies and children.

The Twins Trust Bereavement Support Group (BSG) exist to support all parents and carers of twins, triplets or more who have died whether it was during or after pregnancy. It was first set up in 1982 and we couldnt have come this far without your support.

The Bereavement Support Service is funded almost entirely from voluntary donations and fundraising so your donations will make a vital difference to the support that we can offer our bereaved families.

The experience of being a bereaved parent of twins, triplets or more is a devastating one, full of conflicting emotions. Parents often feel overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of their feelings. Sadly, the loss of one or more babies is not unusual. Twins and four times more likely to die during pregnancy compared to a single baby and seven times more likely to die shortly after birth.

As the only UK charity offering support to bereaved families of twins, triplets or more, well continue providing a lifeline of help, and a listening ear. Every donation will help to improve lives.

So please show your support by making a donation today and sponsor our amazing runners who will be remembering their babies and children while running 5K on 7th May.
