Story

The Bill Russell Woodburn Youth Project was established in 2007 by local people who were concerned about the lack of activities for young people in their area, and the high levels of vulnerable young people becoming involved in or affected by substances/ alcohol or anti-social behaviour. In the last few years the priorities of the project have changed to respond to the growing number of young people who were struggling not meet their potential or have access to activities, information and skills sessions that their peers have in more affluent areas in the local community.
