Visit the charity's profileWomen and children experiencing DOMESTIC ABUSE are feeling the ripple effects of the Covid 19 pandemic. They have been trapped with their abuser during lockdowns, have endured increased and unbearable familial tension and suffered heart-breaking isolation from the friends and family who could have helped them.
OUR STAFF HAVE BEEN AND ARE WORKING ROUND THE CLOCK TO MAKE SURE OUR SERVICES REMAIN OPEN AND AVAILABLE FOR EVERY WOMAN AND CHILD WHO NEEDS THEM.
Our Christmas campaign will be conducted in a different way this year again. During the pandemic we found that women really appreciate vouchers or gift cards as they give them the choice to purchase clothing, food and anything else they or their children need. Self-help and mutual support is part of our core ethos and we believe that allowing women the autonomy to purchase the goods they want and need is aligned with our values.
