Story

Cycling across East Anglia

Over 13-16 June 2024, 60 riders and support crew are gearing up to cycle 200 miles over four days across stunning East Anglia. Starting out from Chelmsford, they will ride to Colchester, on past Ipswich, then towards Lowestoft where riders will turn north and cycle along the coast of the North Sea. Eventually turning in land again, the team will ride for the finish line in Norwich.

Over 23 years, this community of committed and generous individuals have fundraised over £1,000,000 for Become, the national charity for children in care and young care leavers, and they're not stopping in their mission.

The support from Biking for Children in Care is huge for our small charity and the hundreds of children in care and young care leavers we work with. They are a pillar of funding for Become." - Katharine Sacks-Jones, CEO of Become

By donating and supporting this incredible fundraising community, you are helping to fund Become's vital services and campaigning for a better care system for the record number of children in care today.
