Story

Air Ambulance NI Virtual Bucket Collection

The 7th - 13th of September 2020 is Air Ambulance Awareness Week.

We bring lifesaving care to patients.

Our missions are funded by your donations.

Usually at this time of year we have collections in towns across NI, but that is not possible this year due to Covid-19. But you can still be a life saver by donating what you can to our virtual bucket collection.

Ellie McDonnell was one patient whose family was told by the medical team at the Royal Victoria Hospital that she would not have survived a further 5 minutes. Ellie had an accident on the family farm and the HEMS team were able to induce a coma at the scene in Portaferry to help save her life. Ellie continues her recovery with more surgery ahead.

£5,500 is still needed every day to continue reaching patients.

Thank you for your support.
