The Swami Bede Dayananda Trust (SBDT) runs a training centre for adults, mostly young women, near the Saccidananda Ashram in Tamil Nadu, South India. Jobs requiring tailoring or typing skills are available to the trainees when they graduate from the centres. BGCT helps with the running costs of the centre.
Swami Bede Dayananda was the name Fr Bede Griffiths was given while he lived at the Ashram. Sr Rose runs SBDT, which also provides a kindergarten and a day centre for the elderly (qv).
