Help us unlock £5,000 of funding

Age UK Bristol has been given a generous opportunity to receive £5,000 in matched funding to support older people this winter. We need your help to unlock this £5,000. Please give a donation to Age UK Bristol today and every £1 you give will be matched with an additional £1 from an anonymous donor.

Each donation will go towards our Information & Advice Service to help us support older people in Bristol this winter. We all know that the cost of living crisis will make this a difficult winter but many older people will be disproportionately affected. Many older people have long-term health conditions that will be adversely affected by a cold home and limited income to cover the high cost of energy. We want to prevent people deciding between heating and eating.

Age UK Bristol can help. Our dedicated Information & Advice team of paid workers and trained volunteers work hard to maximise income for anyone aged 55+ years.

Our small team can help navigate the benefits system to see what people might be entitled to. We provide step by step support, from form filling through to appeals. Each year, our team raise over £1.5 million in additional money for older people in Bristol. This help is even more needed now.
