Story
Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.
Our mission is to improve the survival rates of pancreatic cancer by ensuring more people are diagnosed early and in time for surgery – currently the only potential cure – and improve the quality of life of patients. Our vision is a day when everyone is diagnosed early and survives pancreatic cancer.
I'm taking taking on the challenge of walking, jogging, and running 60 Miles to raise money for a great cause. I'm determined to make a difference to the survival rate of pancreatic cancer. Why? Because every day 26 people die from this disease, and it is only through early diagnosis we can bring that number down, I need your help to do it.
I'm takin g part in 60 Miles in April to help ensure more people are diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer earlier and in time for surgery, giving them a much higher chance of survival.
