BACKGROUND

THE GUARDIANS | Cap Foundation Orphan Village

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Myself and the caretaker of an orphan will be in Paradise like this, and he held his two fingers together. (Sahih al-Bukhari 5659)

Purpose: In Bangladesh, 64 million children live, with half experiencing poverty, and 4.8 million are orphans.

The Need: The situation is critical—many children as young as six work in hazardous conditions, with education often ending by age eight. Orphans are particularly vulnerable, facing exploitation and dangers on the streets.

Our Vision: To transform the lives of vulnerable children and shape future generations through quality education and innovative solutions that foster self-sufficiency.

Our Mission: To empower and prepare children for a brighter future by equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to succeed.

The Facilities

• Three fully furnished dormitories to accommodate 100 orphans, providing a safe and comfortable living environment.

• A School of Excellence offering both primary and secondary education to ensure quality learning for all children.

• A Masjid to facilitate daily prayers and provide religious education, fostering spiritual growth.

• An indoor sports complex and outdoor playground to promote health, fitness, and physical well-being.

• A Youth Club designed to engage children in positive activities, build social skills, and encourage personal development.

• Comprehensive safeguarding and child protection training for all staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

• A comprehensive CCTV system to ensure the highest level of safety and security for all children and staff.

• A focus on health and well-being, ensuring the physical and emotional care of all children.

• A Technical College that serves as an exit strategy, enrolling children in our apprentice program to train them as mobile engineers, IT engineers, Design and Technology, graphic designers, civil engineers, and architects, ensuring their future self-reliance and career success.
