Story

Due to popular demand our Skipping Challenge is Back! We want you to get your skipping rope out of the attic and take on the challenge of completing 4,000 skips in October for Special Olympics Ireland!

The Challenge is open to all levels of skipping fans and you can choose the pace and number of skips that you want to undertake each day.

With your help, almost 8,000 women, men and children with an intellectual disability across the island of Ireland will play the sports they love and keep fit and healthy through competitions, challenges and activities.

Special Olympics is a sport organisation for people with an intellectual disability, currently supporting nearly 8,000 athletes across Ireland, who are training for much more than the physical benefits that come from sport, but the emotional and social development that come from being part of S.O.I.
