Story

On the 14th September a group of friends and colleagues will be taking on the 3 peak challenge. We will be driving up the night before from Hinckley to Fort William and will start the first mountain (Ben Nevis) early the next morning. Once complete, we will be driving to the Lake District to complete the second mountain (Scarfell Pike) before driving down into Wales to complete the final mountain (Snowdon). The total walking distance is 23 miles with an ascent of 3064 metres and the total driving distance is 462 miles. The goal is to do this all within 24 hours! We are not avid hikers or particularly fit individuals but we are determined, strong willed and up for a challenge! The charity has personally helped one of us through a very difficult time so it is a privilege to be able to support and give back to a well deserved Charity that has done so much for families, which is why we have decided to take the challenge on.
