Story
Lace up your running shoes, pump up your bike tyres and get the kids wellies on for a fun-filled Spring with the 30 Miles My Way challenge for Manchester Foundation Trust Charity.
Our amazing NHS nurses here in Greater Manchester walk an average of 30 miles a week. So, while our hard-working staff are walking the wards, were asking supporters to get out in the fresh air and clock up 30 miles of your own this Spring!
You can run, walk or cycle the 30 miles in one go, week, or space it out across the month. You could use 30 Miles My Way as an excuse to discover a park or area near home or get the kids (and yourself!) away from their screens for a few hours.
Enjoy the fresh air, green space and health benefits while also raising money for our fantastic NHS here Manchester. You can choose which hospital youd like your registration money and any fundraising you to go towards, such as Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary or Wythenshawe Hospital.
Fundraising has been affected, as with all industries, by the on-going pandemic and we are so grateful for your continued support that helps us to improve the experience of the thousands of patients that come through our doors each year.
When completing your fundraising challenge, please ensure you are following government guidelines on covid-19: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing/coronavirus-covid-19-meeting-with-others-safely-social-distancing
