Story
To help kick start SNAP's 30th Anniversary year and to help beat those January blues, our amazing supporters are getting involved to help raise vital funds for SNAP, by taking on their own 30-in-30 days challenge during January 2024.
Why not get involved and take on your own unique challenge too between 2nd and 31st of the month.
The list of possibilities for a 30-day charity challenge really is endless, so let your imagination run wild!
In January many people either give something up, like alcohol or takeaways, but we are encouraging people to take something on, like cooking a new meal every day or committing to learn a new skill by the end of the month. Here are some additional challenge suggestions
Our amazing SNAP team have chosen to take on the following challenges during the 30 days:
Alex - Cycling every day
Charlotte - Complete 30 paintings
Olivia - 30 different hairstyles
Paula - Run 30 miles
Caley - Run 5k every day
Callum - 30 different dog walks with Roly
Karen - 30 minutes walk/exercising or meditating every day
Pamela - 10k steps every day
Fiona - 30 beauty treatments for 30 clients
Michaela - Attending the gym every day
Sara - Cycling 30 miles
Helen - walking 30 miles
Andrea - memorising and recalling 30 words/objects in the correct order
Kate - Daily yoga sequence
Caitlin - 30 new Makaton signs
Alli - 30 different Pies-in-the-face
Please do show your support for our wonderful team by donating and giving them encouragement.
By raising £3,000 through this campaign, this could:
provide over 300 Helpline calls and emails with a Family Support Adviser, offering vital support and advice;
provide 45 counselling sessions – currently about two weeks of counselling;
provide a variety of exciting sessions for children and young people with any additional need, helping to improve their social and communication skills.
Your help will ensure we can continue to be here for families across Essex who have a child or young person with any additional need or disability. Your support really does mean the world to us, now more than ever.
Our services rely on the support of the community so we send a HUGE thank you to all our incredible fundraisers taking part, as well to everyone that generously donates, for helping make our work possible!
We hope the below video gives you insight into the value of your support:
