Its our birthday! November 2020 marks the start of a year long celebration of our 25th anniversary.
Since 1995 we have been working with the people of Teesside to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
This year has been one of the hardest on record for everyone, but the fallout from COVID 19 has been felt particularly hard in Teesside. As we continue to find our way through the pandemic, our work is more important than ever. We want to use our 25th year to show that we are here for our local community and that we can be counted on to help make a difference.
Over the last 25 years we have helped over 175,000 people in Middlesbrough and Stockton.
Choosing a charity to fundraise for can be a very personal decision. We know there are lots of charities and lots of very worthy causes out there, and so we really appreciate it when people choose to support us.
We support over 8,000 local people every year who are struggling with their mental health. In 2020 this number has significantly increased to well over 10,000 due to the effects of the pandemic.
Were passionate about making sure everyone can get help.
The North East of England has the highest rates of suicide than any other part of the country. One in five local children are suffering from poor mental and emotional health, which is higher than the national average. So now more than ever, people in our local communities need access to mental health support and services.
The money you raise supports our organisation to reach the people who need our help the most.
