Some of our staff members are going to be taking on a walking challenge over the month of June - we will be walking between us a total of 2345 miles - this is a mile for every person that we have provided food for over a month. Some of us are office based so on an average day we don't move very far but we are determined to take on this challenge and at the same time raise some funds for County Durham and Sunderland Foodbank so that we can continue the vital work supporting those most in need in our communities.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.
