Story
Mountbatten is growing to reach more people than ever before; providing 24/7 care and support to people at home; and leading the community conversation about death, dying, and bereavement.
Hear from patients who share what this care and support means to them and how Mountbatten has changed their lives here
We are an independent charity providing free care and support to people with any life-limiting illness, including respiratory disease, Motor Neurone Disease, heart disease, advanced dementia, respiratory disease, and cancer.
We also provide free bereavement and psychological support to anyone who needs it.
Much of our work takes place in people's own homes across our community. Our expert teams work across the areas we serve, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Most people think that a hospice is somewhere you come to die. In fact, our aim is to help people to live as well as they possibly can with their illness.
Our strapline is 'Living, dying, remembering' because Mountbatten is there for our community every step of the way, at whatever stage of life, death, and bereavement.
