The Medical Social Department are holding their Annual Christmas Jumper Appeal from 13th to 19th December in order to fundraise for The St. James's Hospital Patient Support Fund. Christmas Jumper day will be on Thursday 16th December when the Medical Social Workers will be decked out in all their Christmas finery.

The Patient Support Fund allows us to provide necessities for our most vulnerable patients. During 2021 we purchased clothing and footwear to the value of €4,300.

The Social Work Department are dependent on your kind donations to allow us to provide warm clothing and other essentials to our homeless and vulnerable patients.

Unfortunately, again this year it will not be possible to collect cash donations so we are inviting everyone to make a special effort to donate online instead.

We welcome all of your continued support through this fundraising campaign and don't forget to keep an eye out for the Social Workers in their Christmas Jumpers on Thursday 16th December.
