Story
Safe Passage is an educational nonprofit, located in Guatemala City, within an extremely impoverished community. Many of our families support their families on about $4 a day, which they earn through salvaging and recycling items from an enormous, city garbage dump. The arrival of COVID-19, and the subsequent shutdown of the dump, has hit this community particularly hard. Despite the shut down and many government restrictions, Safe Passage has continued its mission by providing innovative education, mental & health services, as well as relief aid to students and families during the pandemic.
Please take a moment to watch this video and get to know Safe Passages' story.
Now throughout the end of the year, all new or increased donations will be MATCHED up to $100,000. This means a gift toward this vulnerable community would be DOUBLED!
Please consider joining me in support of this worthy organization this holiday season.
