Campaign Title: "Swim for a Future: Supporting Pineview Retreat Lodge"

Introduction:

We are immensely grateful to Mihai Badea, a beloved figure in the Romanian community and a close friend of Children in Distress (CID), as he embarks on an extraordinary journey to raise funds for our most significant project yet - "Pineview Retreat Lodge." This retreat home, also known as Casa dintre Brazi, will be a sanctuary for children, especially those with disabilities, providing them with respite relief and holiday experiences they may not easily access elsewhere.

Project Overview:

"Pineview Retreat Lodge" will be a special guesthouse in Zǎrnesti, meeting the highest standards for accommodation and facilities. It will cater to children with special needs, offering them a holiday and recovery center where they can find joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging. This project represents our commitment to expanding our reach and impact, potentially touching the lives of thousands of children in the years to come.

Mihai Badea's Journey:

In support of this noble cause, Mihai Badea will undertake a historic challenge - swimming the entire 130 km length of Lake Powell, from Utah to Arizona, in record time. This incredible feat symbolises courage, strength, and hope, mirroring the resilience of the children we aim to serve.
