Our founder Rosemary had a vision to ensure that the smallest, most injured, weakest or unwanted horses and ponies always had a home, and this vision continues to inspire trust and loyalty amongst our many incredible supporters like you. Its also an inspiring and important vision for all the staff who dedicate their working lives to the horses and ponies, whether they work on the yards or in the offices.

Thirty years on, the Mare and Foal Sanctuary is one of the largest equine charities operating in the South West rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses and ponies in need, and we rely entirely on donations and legacy gifts to do so.

Looking forward, 2020 will bring in lots of new equines, and we need to be prepared. We hope we can continue to work together to save as many of them as we can. We are so grateful for your help without you, none of this would be possible. Thank you for giving these horses and ponies the chance of a happy and healthy life.
