Who we are:

York RI has been here for the community providing affordable sports and activities to all ages and backgrounds for 100 years, and we hope to be here for 100 more.

Our mission has always been to offer sport and recreation to all at an affordable cost, however the clock runs out in April 2027 when we will need to vacate, or buy our Queen Street sports centre venue.

The Trustees of the RI are up to the task of taking on this iconic venue, but we need the help of the community and our members to secure its future.

The Goal:

For our 100th birthday at Queen Street, we are aiming to raise £100,000 towards the purchase of the venue.

The Future:

That security then allows us to look to the future and apply for grant funding to modernise the facilities and better serve our community.
