Story

COVID has affected Red Bird Mission along with the rest of the world. Services provided by the mission have been limited and only a handful of volunteers have been able to help. Outreach programs, Work Camp, the Community Store, the Senior Center and the school have all been affected. Red Bird Mission always manages to keep its head above water, but God is urging us to fill this gap with the most basic form of help - money.

We're calling this campaign the "100 Hearts for Red Bird"... in time for Valentine's Day. We're asking that every supporter, every UMW group, every MYF youth group, every individual who is able... to send $100 to Red Bird Missiion. Can you imagine the impact this could make?

Please help us spread this far and wide. In the age of social media we are all connected and able to reach many people very quickly. Post to your pages and share with your church families. Red Bird Mission's 100th anniversary is the perfect opportunity for us to come together and do our part to ensure God's presence in Appalachia for another 100 years.

God bless you all.

"Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it's in your power to help them." Proverbs 3:27 NLT
