Why We Need Your Support

The Prout Bridge Project is a community based charity in Beaminster in Dorset.

We offer:

* THREE YOUTH CLUB SESSIONS EACH WEEK DURING TERM TIME - Junior club for ages 8-11years, Senior club ages 11+ and our band session where our amazing youth band, The Phoenix , practice ready for the gigs they play throughout the year at local community events.

* ADULT COUNSELLING SERVICE - Ages 16+

* TARGETED YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT - These are 1:1 or groupwork sessions where young people are able to talk to youth workers about what is going on in their lives and find positive ways forward

* SPACE FOR LOCAL USER GROUPS AT OUR PROUT BRIDGE BUILDING - such as Mountjoy 6th Form, Citizen Advice Bureau, ReadEasy adult literacy, Ripple Workshop for young parents and support for Beaminster Foodbank

* OUTREACH WORK IN OUR OUTREACH VEHICLE GILBERT - currently at the Memorial Playing Field and Beaminster skate park. We will hopefully be popping up in the surrounding villages of Beaminster and at local community events soon!

We have been building back since the COVID PANDEMIC, where it's effects and the current 'COST OF LIVING' CRISIS have led to a INCREASE in DEMAND for our SERVICES.

We have SCALED UP our DELIVERY to accommodate the demand and now we NEED to raise more REGULAR INCOME to ENSURE that we can keep OFFERING our SERVICES to the LOCAL COMMUNITY.
