Story
Celebrating our 100th Anniversary!
Take on the 100 4 100 campaign as we celebrate 100 years of supporting blind & sight impaired people across West Sussex.
We'd love you to do / make / sell 100 of something to try and raise £100 for us this year! Stream for 100 hours on twitch, give up your morning coffee for 100 days or take on a 100km hike - There are literally a hundred (or more!) things you could do to raise funds for us, and if you're stuck for ideas, get in touch with our team to support you picking a challenge that's right for you.
Two other easy ways to increase those pounds is to ask everyone to Gift Aid their donation or see if your place of work offers a matched funding scheme for your event. Would they be willing to support you?
For more information, support and ideas please contact our fundraising team on 01243 838 001 or email: fundraising@4sight.org.uk
If 100 people in our community took on the 100 4 100 challenge we could raise an amazing £10,000 to support the vital services 4 Sight Vision Support provide for blind and sight impaired children and adults across West Sussex.
Did you know, £100 could...
Enable our Outreach Team to support 25 members for 4 weeks with tailored advice, low vision assessments and assisted technology training, which helps them to make best use of remaining sight and live as independently as possible.
Enable us to send our bi-monthly newsletter to nearly 200 members (available in Large Print, email, Braille, CD and USB) providing them with the news most relevant to them, advice around eye health, tips and service updates.
Here are some lovely words from our members:
Thank you so much for all your advice. It is so comforting to know there is someone to call if I need to, and I feel much better after your support.
Its such a lonely and distressing thing to go through and at times we have felt overwhelmed, but every time we have come to 4Sight Vision Support we have had such a warm welcome and received such great care and advice that we have come away feeling happy and hopeful that this is not the end of everything.
I can't praise 4Sight Vision Support enough for all their help and kindness; I'm just so pleased and relieved to finally be able to talk through my sight loss with someone that understands.
