Story
Horsham Matters launched the District Foodbank 10 years ago. Since then food poverty has been steadily increasing and we provided 10,220 individual food parcels in 2023.
We are proud of the work we have achieved and are grateful to our supporters who have helped us along the way. We are especially grateful to the thousands of residents who have trusted us and have come to us in the past years for support. However, the real celebration will be on the day that we close our doors because we won’t need a foodbank in our community anymore.
So, there won’t be a cake or balloons, we will continue to do the work we are doing to support the most vulnerable in our community, and we won’t stop until our ultimate goal of ‘no one needs a food bank’ has been achieved.
In the meantime, we are asking for your continued support; £10 will help us to help others.
