We work in developing communities to tackle the root causes of poverty

Story

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

As salaamu Alaikum, we pray these words find you in the best of health and imaan during this blessed month of Ramadhan.

During this current crisis, we find ourselves stuck at home praying our five daily prayers and Teraweeh in the comfort of our homes. This time last year, many of us were in Masjids, in the comfort of Allah’s house, praying in congregation. Words cannot describe the emptiness the heart feels not being able to enter a Masjid. We are given the opportunity 5 times a day, 365 days a year, yet many of us neglect the significance of praying salaah in the Masjid.

Team Ayaans have taken it upon ourselves to make a difference to hundreds of lives and we want you to be a part of it In Shaa Allah. In doing so, we pray Allah accepts this charitable act as a means of our Jannah, Ameen.

We have sourced a location in Bangladesh where there is a need of a Masjid for the local community. We are working alongside Muslim Hands Charity who have aided in the construction of over 300 Masjids in 10 different 3rd world countries.

We are fortunate enough to have several masjids on our doorstep Alhamdulillah however, they do not, let alone having to travel miles to get to one.

This is the first Ramadhan in our lives where we have been unable to pray our Salaahs/Teraweeh in a Masjid. It has taken a global pandemic to only realise just how lucky and blessed we are to be able to worship in the house of Allah.

We would like for you to help us raise funds to be able to build a Masjid for this community and many amenities to go along with it In Shaa Allah.

To put into perspective how important a Masjid is, The first and foremost duty performed by the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH) upon entering the sacred city of Madinah was to build a Masjid.

The Messenger of Allah said,

”Whosoever builds a house (Masjid) for the pleasure of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.“ - at-Tirmidhi.

The Masjid stands as a symbol of hope for those who seek the pleasure of Allah. It is considered to be a safe haven, a place where one can feel at peace and leave the troubles of the dunya behind. It is not only seen as a sanctuary, but stands as a source of education for many children and produces the future of our Ummah.

When we stand in front of Allah, what will we have to present to Him? Help us by seizing this opportunity to #buildyourakhirah.

As muslims, it is our duty to look after our less fortunate brothers and sisters who do not have the luxuries and opportunities that life has given us. Every donation has an impact be it small or big. Contributing towards the pleasure of Allah is an act of an individual which benefits many.

“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honour, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.” - Muslim.

The Location of the Masjid In Shaa Allah:
Boiragi Bazaar Road,
Khatli Fara Village,
Post office: Boiragi Bazar Madrasah,
Thana: Bishwanath,
Sylhet,
Union: Rampasha

The Masjid will include:
200 spaces and masalas for Muslims to pray on. Wudu facilities, a tube well and 2 toilets. Lights, fans, shoe rack and a PA system In Shaa Allah.

Make this an act of Sadaqah on behalf of you and your family In Shaa Allah. May the peace and blessings of Allah be with you, Ameen.

Abdul Shahed, Junaid Khan & Team Ayaans.
