We like our challenges so this year we have decided, once

again, to help out a local Charity, the 'Argus Appeal'. 

We intend to pedal 140 miles from Brighton to Paris at the

end of Aug. 

We will cheat, however, by taking a ferry across the English

channel and then cycle off down to Paris. This is an

organised cycle challenge with the Argus Appeal and so every

penny raised will go directly to the charity.

 But we need your help.  

We need to raise a large amount of money to participate; we

have paid our personal registration fees and all training will

be done in our free time, thus enabling us to complete

this challenge.

From you, we kindly ask for a donation to help this much

deserving Appeal.

So our challenge is to pedal 140 miles from

Brighton to Paris on our road bikes.  

To begin with on Day 1, 50 miles in the saddle, rolling

along the picturesque Avenue Verte

(a disused railway path) en route to Gournay-en-Bray.

Then we head west for another 50 miles into the

heart of the Picardie region. From here, Paris is

now only a day's ride away,  via the Canal de Lours.

in need in our community.

The Argus Appeal is our charity which has been working

at the heart of our community for almost 55 years.

We pride ourselves on having supporters who trust the

 Update 

Due to medical reasons Paul Cronin has had to pull out. I'm sure we will see him on the next one. We have reduced the target due to this.
