About The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts
The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts is run by a registered charity and occupies a building close to the centre of Darlington. The charity provides rooms, storage, equipment and facilities enabling community groups, private tutors, the local council and others to offer a wide range of courses and activities to all in Darlington and the surrounding area. As well as the rooms the facilities available include 2 potters wheels, 2 pottery kilns, a fully equipped digital art studio and a hand operated printing press. The courses and activities currently on offer cover a wide range of abilities from beginners to the very accomplished for a diverse community including specific projects designed for vulnerable adults and young people with challenging disabilities.
